Early Years is a successful, thriving, exciting and integral part of Abberley Hall. In a happy, caring environment it is our aim to ensure that every child feels special. We provide children with a gentle introduction to school life whilst establishing solid foundations.

We cater for the needs of our youngest children in spacious, specifically designed accommodation with excellent facilities and resources. The Early Years offers a well structured range of child-initiated play, practical activities and adult led learning to help children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially during their early years.  Children are provided opportunities to build on key learning skills such as speaking, listening, concentration and learning to work together and co-operate with their peers.

Children move into the Reception class at the beginning of the academic year following their fourth birthday. In addition to light, bright, well-resourced classrooms with interactive white boards, the Early Years have use of the Pre-Prep Library and many of the main school facilities.

The outdoor environment is very important to life and learning in Early Years and the children are lucky to enjoy the country surroundings and a wonderful adventure playground.
