On the 3rd February we presented our second Lunchtime Concert of this Spring/Lent Term. It was a very varied and highly enjoyable programme and all the children performed extremely well and to an appreciative audience.
The programme was as follows :-
The String Ensemble (Katie A, Elise B, Frances C, Lili I, Ben W & Freya W) played Themes from the ‘Water Music’ by G. F. Handel
James W played the Andante from ‘Surprise Symphony’ by F. J. Haydn on the piano
Poppy U played Bagpipe Song on the ‘cello
Max R sang The Hippopotamus by Flanders & Swan
Joseph H played A Slice of the Action by J. Rae on the saxophone
Lili I played Minuet No. 2 by J. S. Bach on the ‘cello
Amy H played Vivace by J-B. Loeillet on the flute
Frankie S played Carnival in Rio by W. Gillock on the piano and
‘Cellini’ (Lili I, Eleanor L, Poppy U & Freya W) played Shepherds Hey
The next Lunchtime Concert is next Friday - Friday 10th February
