All classes receive Swimming lessons every week in our full-sized indoor pool. All children have two PE lessons in our Sports Hall and children in Class 2 and Class 3 have additional games lessons. The children in Class 3 have the opportunity to compete against other schools in football, hockey, netball and cricket.
Drama for the children takes place during the week as a whole class activity. A major production takes place each Spring Term which helps to produce a confident child. A specialist Drama teacher comes into school once a week to provide Speech and Drama coaching. This is an optional extra and arrangements can be made for children to sit LAMDA exams.
Music is taught as a class subject throughout the Pre-Prep by a specialist music teacher in the main Prep-School. She also takes the whole Pre-Prep together once a week for singing. We are also able to offer the children the chance to have individual music lessons with visiting specialist teachers and these lessons are once a week for thirty minutes. The children can choose to learn a variety of instruments and we enjoy listening to our young performers at concerts.
