A total of 40 pupils from Year 2 up to Year 8 entered into LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) exams at the end of January and we have just received a fantastic set of results to celebrate.
100% of the students achieved either high Merits or Distinctions and 50% of them achieved Distinctions in their Performance or Communication exams.
Pupils as young as six were entering the LAMDA exams and worked incredibly hard in preparation for them. For 17 of our students it was their first experience of a Speech & Drama exam, but everyone jumped in feet first with wonderful enthusiasm and determination which clearly paid off.
Our Top Year students were juggling their LAMDA exams and Drama Scholarship exams within days of one another, but they handled the pressure admirably.
We are really proud of all of our Speech and Drama students, well done!
