Traditionally, Saturdays were a normal academic morning at Abberley Hall, with sports matches following in the afternoon. However, we strongly believe that children should focus not only on developing in the classroom, but also outside of it.

Our exciting new Discover programme complements Abberley's high academic standards with developing pupils’ interests and passions. From intellectually stimulating activities like Debating and ‘The Apprentice’ Challenge to encouraging life skills and independence in the form of Wilderness Survival Skills, Community Service and Horsemanship, the programme makes the most of our 90 acres of outdoor classroom. Our aim is to give children the best start in life in an ever-changing world.

The activities change every half of term and reflect the time of year. Summer activities will be more outdoor based, whilst those in winter will make the most of our fantastic facilities. There are also some activities that will take place offsite, like clay pigeon shooting or sailing.

To view our Autumn Programme, please view the document below. Children will be asked for their choices during the first couple of days of term. If you have any queries or feedback please email Matt Bennett-Tomlin, Head of Discover: matt.bennett-tomlin@abberleyhall.co.uk
