Pupils are inspired by the freedom to create their own ideas as well as striving for a high personal standard.

The best way to learn is by ‘doing’ and we enable children to experience this in groups, paired work and as an individual, with dynamic displays reflecting this around school.

The best way to learn is by ‘doing’ and we enable children to experience this in groups, paired work and as an individual, with dynamic displays reflecting this around school.

Pupils value their work and learning experience in many forms including painting, drawing, textiles, sculpture, theatrical set painting, ceramics, enamelling, photography, art history and graphics. Children feel a sense of personal achievement from these opportunities; they are rewarded and gain confidence throughout the creative process which motivates them to reach their potential. We aim to provide a rich visual experience where children learn through their enjoyment; this seems to be evident as they always wish their lessons were longer!
