Under 9 Netball v Kings’s Hawford

I have never seen an Under 9 match with so many goals. The ball went from center pass to goal and then this pattern repeated again and again.

We had a stunning second quarter when the team really worked hard and put in a determined effort to do their best. Consequently we scored 7 goals to Hawford’s 3. We took it a little easier in the next quarter letting Hawford back into the game. By full time, in a very close match Hawford won by one goal, 16 goals to our 15.

Rosie played GS today and enjoyed sharing the shooting with Bea who was really accurate with her shooting. Izzy was a star playing WA for most of the match where she was able to send the ball to the shooters with perfectly timed passing. Scarlett enjoyed playing C linking both the attack and the defence. It is a position that glues the team together. WD was our visitor Shirley. She did really well and even managed to make an interception. Ellie had to work hard to keep up with a very strong GA from Hawford. Somehow she managed this difficult task.  Whilst Lilly was calm, cool and steady as GK. together though, this was their best match of the season. Well played everyone.
